Eisteddfod by the Bay Committee Member

I started dancing classes when I was 2 and a half years old, learning from Edna Prout, Ivy Emms and Jenny Brennan. When I was 15, I joined Amateur Theatre companies, Cid Elwood Productions and Southern Cross Theatre Company. Later I went back to dancing and joined Lynda Mathis adult tap dance class.

Now I regularly teach and do line dancing, which helped me to be an extra in "The Man from Snowy River" at Rod Laver Arena. At present I am a professional member of "The Original Showbiz Club" and occasionally perform there with some of my students.

So as you can see I really do enjoy anything to do with Theatre and the Arts. So in closing I am very happy to be a committee member of the Eisteddfod by the Bay as it is truly rewarding.
